We take an individual approach to each client, so your investment portfolio is carefully constructed to match your objectives. We will ask if there are any investments you prefer to avoid. If you want all of your investments to be chosen from an ethical perspective, we can do this through our in-house ethical investment team, Rathbone Greenbank.

With a thorough understanding of the ethical investment landscape, our ethical specialists only manage socially responsible investments and have done so since 1992. Rathbone Greenbank works with around 1,200 clients across the UK and manages over £946 million in ethical investment assets.*

Our own involvement in charitable and philanthropic activity goes back even further. The Rathbone family was active in improving social welfare during the nineteenth century. We carry on that work today and many of our employees are actively involved in fundraising and volunteering in their local communities.
