Investor Day: Water under pressure

Investor Day: Water under pressure

Our 27th annual Investor Day focused on the social, environmental and economic risks posed by water scarcity, and the potential for companies and investors to offer solutions to these challenges. We discussed how technology and innovation can help, how companies are responding by managing their own freshwater impacts, and how investors can engage with companies on water use and management.

Kate Elliot, Greenbank's head of ethical, sustainable and impact research chaired the event, and speakers included:

Claire Elsdon, Director of Capital Markets, CDP
Martin Gisbourne, Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer, Genuit Group
Jason Shingleton, Group Materials Science and Innovation Director, Genuit Group
Professor Nick Voulvoulis, Professor of Environmental Technology and Deputy Director of the Centre of Environmental Policy, Imperial College London
Kai Johns, Senior ESI Researcher, Greenbank
