Following the delivery of the UAE Consensus (the final text from COP28) Nicola reflects on some of the key points, outcomes and shortfalls from the conference including: 

―    how climate scientists were given centre stage at this COP
―    "transition away" from fossil fuels vs "phase out" language
―    results of the first-ever Global Stocktake
―    the financial seeding of the Loss and Damage Fund
―    disappointments and areas of limited progress
