Kai conducts analysis of investments against a range of environmental, social and governance criteria for both new ideas and companies in Greenbank’s investment universe, as well as for leading thematic research into key responsible investment issues. He is also an investment analyst, responsible for ethical and sustainable equity research. Kai joined the ethical, sustainable and impact research team in March 2019 after graduating from the University of Cambridge with a BA in Law and he is a CFA Charterholder.

Laura MacRae joined the Greenbank team as a Trainee Investment Manager in 2023, bringing with her early career experience from the banking sector, having previously worked at Handelsbanken in Exeter.

She holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Geography from the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2021. Laura is currently working towards the CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma as part of her professional development.

Laura MacRae joined the Greenbank team as a Trainee Investment Manager in 2023, bringing with her early career experience from the banking sector, having previously worked at Handelsbanken in Exeter.

Lauren joined Greenbank in 2024 as an Ethical, Sustainable, and Impact Researcher. She is responsible for evaluating investments against a comprehensive range of environmental, social, and governance criteria, and conducting in-depth thematic research on emerging responsible investment issues. She has a strong background in environmental research, climate policy, and sustainability consulting, having worked at PwC and an economic consultancy firm. Lauren holds a B.A. (Mod) in Economics and Social Studies from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Will joined Greenbank’s investment research team in 2023, covering a variety of companies and funds within the Greenbank investment universe. Will began his career at Hargreaves Lansdown in 2018, before moving to the Brunel Pension Partnership, where he was a portfolio analyst and then a deputy portfolio manager. Will read English Literature at Newcastle University, graduating in 2016. He is a CFA charter holder.
